Emeric Fohlen is a French documentary photographer based in Paris. His approach focuses on subjects related to the social consequences of the world crises, the notion of identity and the Ecology. 

Over the past 10 years, Emeric has worked on projects dealing with the social situation of the Roma in France in 2013, the Ukrainian revolution in 2014, the notion of utopia at the Burning Man festival in the United States in 2015, the role of youth in the recent political changes in Tunisia in 2016-2017, the situation of Christians in Pakistan in 2018 and the story of child soldiers in the Kasaï region of the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2019.

Following the sanitary crisis of 2020, Emeric began a long term project on the forest in France, which has already been the subject of several publications. In parallel, Emeric has just received a grant for a project dealing with the relationship between humans and Nature in Amazonia. He has exhibited at the Friche de la belle de mai in Marseille, at the Orangery Museum of the Senate and at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris. His work is regularly published and commissioned by many magazines and newspapers
